The Math Tabs in this website focus on providing information students can use at home to help them with homework and access to websites that can provide them with extra support and practice.
The Math Strategies Tab provides students and parents with examples and materials showing problem-solving strategies students are learning in school. Students may us arrays, number lines, multiplication towers, ratio tables, clusters, chunking, addition strategies, subtraction strategies, and other types of visual pictures or procedures for problem solving. Our goal in school is to help students find at least one (1) grade level strategy they can use efficiently for each type of math operation and problem.
The Websites for Learning Tab contains links to various educational websites...some that we use at school as well as others that provide exposure to math concepts and opportunities for practice.
There are Tabs in Math Section of the website for grade-level specific Common Core State Standards that students are expected to know, understand and be able to do in their grade by the end of a school year.

Math Vocabulary
The following document contains list of math vocabulary that most students need to learn and use everyday. Encourage your child to notice and use math vocabulary whenever you are talking about math with him/him, when he/she is doing homework, and/or when he/she is telling you math activities learned each day.
